It is my pleasure to be able to work with our Ferry Pass families again this year.  As many of you already know we are an "A" school this year.  I am so very proud of our students for what they have accomplished academically.  This year we have many new initiatives that the school district is starting.  We have a new gradebook system that offers a new parent portal, a new drug screening initiative for students participating in clubs, extra-curricular activities, and sports teams, as well as a new evaluation system for teachers.  Our new gym if fully operational and will host sports events, music performances, assemblies, and the first 8th grade graduation at the end of the year.  In addition, our school is offering one of the latest Academies for students.  This new career pathway teaches students how to create applications for the gaming industry.

Each year it is our goal to offer parents and family members the best customer service that we possibly can.  In order to better serve you, we have now updated our webpage and will provide information and many of the school forms that are sent home with students.  If there is ever anything we can do to improve our school or customer service, please let me know.

Thank you,

Reggie Lipnick

I am Sherri Mims, the Assistant Principal at Ferry Pass Middle School.  I was a teacher for twenty years and I started in administration in July of 2010 as the Assistant Principal at Ferry Pass.  My husband and I have two teenage boys and we like to spend time at the beach and traveling to new places together like Alaska, Yellowstone National Park, and Washington D.C.  I have lived in the Pensacola area my entire life.  I attended the Escambia County Public School System and started teaching in 1990. Ferry Pass Middle School is a great place to be.  Our faculty, staff, parents, and students work together to make a wonderful school experience.
