Officer Elections for 2018-2019 School Year


If you are interested in running for a SGA officer position for in the 2018-2019 school year, please attend a SGA information meeting on Tuesday, April 10 at 8:45 AM in the MEDIA CENTER. We will discuss requirements and the process for those interested in running for an office position.


To run for:  President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, you must have at least one year of SGA experience (even home room rep) at Ferry Pass M.S.


No previous experience required to run for:

8th grade Senator

7th grade Senator


Must have a C average or better in all classes

Must not have any major behavior infractions



See Ms. Boles for the Qualification form. 


Completed forms are due to Ms. Boles by the end of the school day

on Friday, April 13, 2018.



6th and 7th grade elections will be held on

Thursday, May 17

in your history and civics classes

Home room representatives

During August, homerooms will select one class representative and one alternate for SGA.  The representatives will attend monthly meetings and convey information back to their classes.

Qualifications for SGA membership are:

  • Have and maintain a "C" average or better in all classes.
  • No behavioral issues that require 3rd or 4th step disciplinary actions.
  • Must attend all monthly before-school meetings..
  • Complete a Consent to Student Drug Screening form.

We continue to collect tab tops through April 2018.  The home room that collects the most tops will win a doughnut party!
